Winter (A review)

So today is January 12th. That means (at least in the upper hemisphere) we are experiencing a time known as "winter" which is characterized by being cold.

Also sometimes snow falls, which is the second biggest ingredient to childhood joy. Unfortunately, where I live, snow is non-existent since it's too warm or something. The first ingredient to childhood joy would be a break from the 30-40 hour work week during a time known to many as "winter break".

Winter weather is also pretty stellar -- the air is nice and frosty, and everything seems more solemn and peaceful. Also, it starts raining which is very good for sleeping and introspection.

However, there are some problems with winter. First, the air is cold enough so that if you go outside not properly equipped, your face feels like it might fall off soon. The same happens with almost your entire body after the sun sets, and during winter there's less daylight so less sun :/. The result is that you have to be bundled up tightly which can be nice but eventually hiding from the cold gets a little dull and sad.

Overall, winter is good, and I would argue that it is better than summer. Everyone knows the best season is still fall though.
