September 2025
(Yes, this is super late).
At the start of September, I was on the startup grind. Currently, I am on the college grind. In sum, much has been happening in my life.
Specifically, the key points (pre-college) this September are that I:
- wasted A LOT of time on video games and chess. I'm looking into curbing this.
- worked at a startup. The grind is definitely fun but also taxing. After work each day, I would go home and 'waste time' (play videogames / get in loops). And I was pretty out of my domain at work. But it was fun (somewhat) trying to tackle new problems.
- Finished a few books. Also racked up a lot more books that I want to read
- Packed for and arrived at college.
- Tried a new fruit. Review: 8.5/10; it's different from the norm and although it has high water content, it contains a solid amount of sugar to balance it out. Flavor wise I'm not a big fan but in some ways it can be described as sweet and a little bitter.
- Hung out with friends a lot :)
And after getting college, I:
- have wasted a lot of time. This is a fact.
- played a LOT of ping pong. I think I'm quite decent at it now.
- played poker with actual stakes. As of now, I've broken exactly even. Fortunately for me, I'm also not thinking of playing more poker.
- met new people, attended classes, saw cool professors, etc. (all the generic college stuff).
Overall then, I'm just living life and sorting things out. College is a weird place.
