Permanent Record (A Review)
A while ago I finished reading Snowden's book Permanent Record.
Very captivating for me, 10/10 -- hence why I finished it so quickly. It's a good read and I would encourage everyone to read it, but this book isn't a book I'll add to my collection (one that I'll go out of my way to willingly purchase).
The book is essentially Snowden's autobiography, where he recounts the events of his life and adds context and his own personal notes, but not where he broadly summarizes his impact on society and what he's done. The book is written in a story-like fashion, meaning that although it's nonfiction and everything that is written is (allegedly) true, it uses a writing style similar to that of fiction books.
