Getting Up
A few years ago, I got to that point where I stopped waking up at 7am in the morning happy to start my day early. Nowadays, as a so-called "sleep deprived teenager" who receives 7+ hours of sleep a night usually, if I don't use an alarm and sleep when I usually do (11-12:30) I will wake up at around 10am.
And that's simply waking up. We teenagers have always found that waking up is far easier than getting up. I mean, you simply wake up. Yet getting up means figuring out why you want to get up (hungry? cold? videogames? it's socially unacceptable to keep staying in bed?), and that's a challenge in and of itself.
So where am I? Well even with my phone alarm clock that I use to wake up, waking up is simple, but getting up and doing stuff definitely isn't. I mean who really wants to figure out how to go about their day and start doing stuff?
Man I really wish it was the 1600s and everyone had Sunday off and I could do whatever whenever
Anyways, that's how life is going right now. Currently, my dad wakes me up or is the catalyst that forces me to leave my warm and nice bed and go venture out to my bedroom and eventually to school where life sort of "happens."
If you want some reasons to get up:
- cat
- pesto pasta is very tasty
- go take a walk (if it's like 10am -- don't do this if it's like 6am)
Looks like I'll have to figure out in a later post and in life
- How to wake up early and consistently
- Some purpose that keeps me going besides "cat go meow and is cute"
- sleep early
- figure out how to permanently fix my sleep (aka have a method that works to fix sleep)
