February 2025, a recap
February was busy. As I'm currently sick, here are my main points of accomplishment for February:
- Our robotics team competed at OCR. Whether you want to say we competed successfully is questionable (I'll write a recap on a day by day later), but long story short I had a fun time and things mostly worked
- >> Along the way, I authored a bunch of commits and got our code base working (with help from my co-lead and mentors). I guess that's just how software development goes.
- Performed in two concerts (Double Exposure, Sonoma Jazz Festival) where although I played not very good solos, I learned a bunch, had fun, and saw a picture of Wynton Marsalis. Also got super inspired to jazz and continue jazzing.
- My eagle project (scheduled for this Saturday and next Saturday) is one month closer to fruition! Let's not talk about how the Merit Badge progress is going though....
- Finished that one book on Scalia, got partway through Whiplash, and ditched the book on post-truth. I will say reading is going very poorly as....:
- >> Finally hit the point of senioritis.
It's whatever. This is just February. We still have March to go (where I'll do my best to flow), but after that, I'll probably officially have senioritis.
