College
At college, do college things — do research, talk to professors, and socialize with others. Make new friends, learn a new skill, get in shape, and cherish your carefree adult years. If instead you play videogames all day or spend every day partying, why be at college? Why not just rent an apartment and spend each day gaming/partying instead?
Restaurants
At a restaurant, do restaurant things — order to your heart's desire, taste carefully, and admire the ambience. And most of all, enjoy the experience — there's no need to eat at the trendiest spot or order like a local; rather, eat at spots you find interesting and order food you genuinely are excited to eat. If you're scrolling on your phone or not truly tasting the food you've ordered, why even be at the restaurant? Why not order takeout and eat at home?
Vacation
On vacation, do vacation things — talk with the locals, seek out interesting sights, experience a completely foreign culture. Spend the time taking it all in; after all, you're most likely in a completely foreign place interacting with people who have a fundamentally different world view than yours. If you spend most of your time online and are not busy experiencing the offline, why even go on vacation? Why not just be online at home?
In general, if you go somewhere specific, do environment-specific things at that location. After all, if what you're doing could easily be done somewhere else, is there any reason to even be where you are?
